Geometry Stash

Ah, our flagship offering...

Q: How do I search for a specific term?

A: Select the search bar at the top of the window to type in your search criteria. When you are done, tap Search in the bottom right corner to narrow down the results.

Q: The description image makes no sense! What are the equations on the right side for?

A: The equations on the right side represent the outcome and converse of the theorem. When Geometry Stash is launched, the default image shown labels the different areas of the description.

Q: I can't see the entire term, the table is too short.

A: Tap the textured bar in the lower right to collapse/expand the term table.

Q: When I connect the Apple Dock to VGA/AV Adapter to my device and display, nothing happens.

A: Make sure that the display is properly connected and turned on. Also, make sure that your device is compatible with the adapter the you are using. Currently, only iPod Touch 4th gen, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad and iPad 2 are supported.

Q: When I connect my device to a display, the content goes offscreen.

A: Geometry Stash works best with a 1024x768px display. Any smaller will not accommodate the images. The app automatically chooses the highest resolution available.

Q: Geometry Stash still will not let me use the external display. This is unnecessary as of update 1.1.5 since 1.1.5 will autodetect adapters without needing relaunch.

A: You'll want to completely quit and relaunch the app for changes to take effect.

1. Double click the home button at the bottom of the device. If you are using an OS version less than 4.0, skip to step 4.

2. Hold your finger down on one of the icons for a few seconds. A red circle with a dash through it should appear next to all the icons.

3. Press the red circle next to Geometry Stash's icon. The app is now killed.

4. Unplug and replug the VGA adapter to your device.
5. Relaunch Geometry Stash by clicking its icon on the home screen.

Q: The external display is not detecting, displaying, etc.

A: See solution to above question.
